Set Design

Designing sets is more than making a pretty picture. Each design is specific to the needs of the play, director, and space.  Also, it is influenced by the culture where the play comes from, or where it is presented.  Below there are photos of two different set designs that were constructed.  These plays were very different from each other for several reasons. Also, you can see models (some originals and a replica) and white models of set designs that were used to give a visual representation of my ideas. Finally, in this section there are photos of the techniques that I learned during my internship as a set builder. Click on the pictures and you will get more photos of the same play and a description of each project.
